CAHUITA TOURS - CAHUITA - COSTA RICA

|
|
CAHUITA
TOURS, is one micro company tourist-relative,
located in Cahuita City’s main avenue,
100 meters South of the Rural Guard Attendance,
that offers touristic information services
of the South Caribbean (hotels, restaurants,
tours, reservation of touristic buses, flights
confirmation, itineraries of public bus,
rent of cars, currency exchange, etc. Just
like it operates Tours in all Caribbean
of Costa Rica, it also operates the sector
of the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Republic
of Panama.
|
 |
|
It
was born in the 80’s, like a new subsistence
alternative and answer to the historical events
that were happening in the zone: the Sigatoca
Negra in the Banana tree (1976), the Lethal
Yellow of the Coconut Palm (1977), the declaration
of Cahuita National Park (1978), Oil Exploration
(1981) and the Monilia disease that finished
with the Chocolate production, that was the
base of the region economy.
|
From its foundation it has
been distinguished like an enterprising
company that has let open its doors, to
the services of the tourists, counting with
a personnel of young people of the zone,
who know the area very well. They have been
enabled by biologists of the University
of Costa Rica, just like by the ICT and
the INA. As we have between our personnel,
graduated people, in the Ecological Tourism
career of the University of Costa Rica,
which always refresh the personnel in the
work that they carry out
